![]() It's good for novices, but it may frustrate users who want more. They first suspected firewall/connectivity rules, but we're able to browse the s3 bucket and all of it's contents from the linux repos using rclone and can get/put files in the bucket, so it doesn't seem to be a connectivity issue between linux and backblaze. Updated Febru(Credit: Backblaze) The Bottom Line Backblaze is a streamlined and secure online backup service. You should be given the choice to select a Single Server or Multiple Servers. You can do this by clicking this link to our server backup page and clicking the red Start Now button. Its a smart and fast internet download manager for Windows and macOS. This will make the server run the backup.sh on a daily schedule. ![]() ![]() Due to the characteristics of cloud storage I do not have to worry about additional security. The service is ideal as a backup, content delivery network, or file sharing tool. Service stability, speed, S3 compatibility and convenient API are among the many advantages of B2. Save the backup.sh and make it executable (755 file permissions) Step 3a. BackBlaze offers exceptional quality at an unbeatable price. It will delete the older backups aswell to save storage. The easiest way to upgrade on Ubuntu, Debian and other Linux systems that support apt is via the terminal: duplicity -version duplicity 0.7. Free Download Manager accelerates all types of downloads (files, video, torrents). This will also auto-upload your backup’s to B2 Backblaze Cloud, encrypted and compressed. Opened case # 04838936 and support had me try using a windows gateway for the offload, which works, but we're trying to limit the number of Windows servers we use for this environment and would really like to offload directly from the linux repos. Step 1: Setting Up Your Backblaze B2 Account To start, you will need to create a Backblaze B2 account. Installation While duplicity is pre-installed on many Linux systems, a minimum version of 0.8.08 for Duplicity is recommended when paired with B2. We've installed all of the v11 updates over the past several months, currently running the latest 525. It was working fine for the past 6 months and then recently, all offload jobs started getting stuck at 'Preparing Index' and would stay at that step indefinitely. Conversely, is there anyone who's offloading directly from linux repos to Backblaze and is still working properly? Anyone else see an issue where offloads to Backblaze s3 storage from linux repos stopped working in past few weeks? We're using Backblaze b2 storage and trying to offload directly from the linux server, without using a windows gateway.
